2009 Recap
I-28, Andy Burdick with owner Terry Blanchard, Josh Garber, Peter Keck, Jim Petersen, Ben Porter and Coye Harrett had to fight back in the races to take a 1-2 for the regatta win. Brian Porter sailed the M-4 and proved to be tough. The Melvin team led by Pat Hughes sailed beautifully and was noted to be a "sure winner" in the near, near future. The teamwork on the boat is impressive to watch. And watch it, you can. Sailgroove was there for all the action. With some wild spnnaker sets and rides immediately past the windward offset, this rracing was EXCITING. Lead changes, penalty turns, close quarters - a great deal caught on camera.

30+mph winds after a morning of storms on the radar netted no racing at Green Lake. Twenty-two A teams and 34 MC's stayed on shore watching the winds develop. Half-hour updates via radio from the RC resulted in abandonment at 3:00 for MC's and 3:30 for A's.
