A Scow nationals - Cancellation Regretfully M - 35 cannot make the trip to Madison. Business conflicts with key members of the crew suddenly arose and forced us to cancel. Is there a procedure for refund of registration and meal tickets or can they be applied to a future Nationals. Thanks, Hans M-35 Submitted By: Hans and Carl Zinn

Ntls. @ Mendota I'll be photographing the Ntls. & Inland. I have housing and boat. I need to know for both events: 1) do you have a photographer already 2) regatta chair 3) regatta HQ in Madison 4) party locations so I can run slideshows 5) have you considered setting up a Facebook page or blog for updates Please keep me up-to-date on these items. sale of A Scow Todd Haines: We talked on phone two weeks ago and you were going to let me place a classified ad. I am not able to do so with a security code ID number. There is also a message in the messages box on your web site that refers to my boat and an asking price of $60,000. That is not correct, the current price is $48,000 with hoist or $45,000 without. This is the 1999 boat previously owned by David Bol. Trailer, top and bottem covers, ten plus sails, full set two years old, all updated and top of the line rigging. 651-485-0317. H 13 Hi, Dr Bart Griffith with me as a partner have purchased an A scow - H 13. We are on Gibson Island, Maryland (about 1O miles N of Annapolis Md. Just wanted you all to know. As far as I know it's the only A scow in captivity east of Mich? Maybe now that there is a boat here we can lure some other East Coast scow fanciers to take the plunge! We got the boat rigges today and we'll take it out next weekend. We will use it as a fast daysailer and perhaps challenge the Chesapeake Log canoes. We hope to travel once a year to get our hats handed to us but experince A scow fleet racing. Please let us know if there's anything we can do to help build an East Coast fleet. Regards, Tom Price Submitted By: Tom Price

Media I am the editor/publisher of a monthly, internationally read, e-magazine 'A Brush with Sail' and would like to run a story on the up-coming Sheridan (Cup?) regatta in (August). I am a New Zealand based sailing 'nut' who has admired the scow classes, especially the 'A' since I started sailing - some fifty five years ago -and it would please me a great deal if I could make contact with someone on your Association to assist me. Please visit: www.abrushwithsail.com to get the idea of my publication. I look forward to your reply, Jim. Submitted By: Jim Bolland
