DESCRIPTION: After 11 great years of racing their 2001 38 foot A scow, the partners of M-10 Animal House have determined that infirmities of their individual bodies due to age dictate they pass their pride and joy – A scow M-10 Animal House – on to a new owner or set of owners.
The desire is to move the boat to an excited new owner ASAP and is priced to do so: $35,000 or best offer for the boat, all sails, trailer, boat lift, all covers and usual equipment. It has been well maintained, has a new bow sprit and dings repaired and is ready to race. If interested, please put in your bid. Have in mind that no A scow has been built in 10 years and new pricing for the comparable equipment would be hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The boat is a 2001 model which is relatively new in this fleet of well-built boats the last of which was believed to be built in 2008. It is fast and competitive but could use a newer main sail and perhaps a newer spinnaker. It is offered for sale with 22 sails consisting of 7 whomper spinnakers and a 8th midsize spinnaker, 5 mainsails – the newest being a 2015 model, 9 jibs – the newest being a 2016 jib.
